The tools you control: deposit, loss, and wagering limits
Every player has a different budget. We do not set yours — you do. Before you spin, you can set three hard limits that stop play the moment you hit them. Each limit applies to your entire account, across all games, and cannot be lifted until the cooling-off period you choose expires.
| Limit type | What it caps | Minimum value | Maximum value | Adjustable after set? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Total deposits per day / week / month | €10 per day | €10,000 per month | Only upward — reduction takes 7 days to take effect |
| Loss limit | Net losses (deposits minus withdrawals) | €20 per day | €5,000 per month | Only upward — reduction takes 7 days |
| Wagering limit | Total amount wagered per day / week / month | €100 per day | €50,000 per month | Only upward — reduction takes 7 days |
How to set or change a limit
- Log in and go to the account dashboard.
- Click 'Responsible Gambling' in the sidebar.
- Select the limit type, choose the period (daily, weekly, monthly), and enter the amount.
- Confirm the change. A 24-hour cooling-off starts before any reduction takes effect.
The minimum deposit limit of €10 per day means you can never lose more than you decide upfront. If you want to raise a limit, you can do so instantly. If you want to lower a limit, the change is delayed by 7 days — a deliberate friction to prevent impulse reversals.
Session reminders and reality checks
Time disappears when the reels are spinning. A session reminder is a pop-up that appears after a set interval and shows you how long you have been playing, your net result for that session, and a direct button to close the game or log out.
- Set intervals from 5 minutes to 120 minutes (default: 30 minutes).
- The reminder pauses the game until you acknowledge it.
- You cannot disable this feature — you can only adjust the interval.
To activate it, go to 'Responsible Gambling' in your account settings, toggle 'Session Reminder', and choose the interval. The timer resets after each reminder.
Time-out: a short break without losing your account
Sometimes you need a day or a week away. A time-out locks your account for a duration you choose. During that period you cannot log in, deposit, or play. The account remains intact — no data is deleted, no balance is forfeited.
| Duration | Can be cancelled early? | Effect on active bonuses | Effect on pending withdrawals |
|---|---|---|---|
| 24 hours | No | Bonuses are paused | Withdrawals are processed normally |
| 7 days | No | Bonuses are paused | Withdrawals are processed normally |
| 30 days | No | Bonuses expire | Withdrawals are processed normally |
To activate a time-out, email support@luckyboom.com or use the 'Time-out' option in your account settings. The lock applies immediately and cannot be reversed until the duration expires.
Self-exclusion: a longer step back
Self-exclusion is the strongest tool in the set. It closes your account for a fixed period — 6 months, 1 year, or permanently. During self-exclusion you cannot access any games, deposits, or withdrawals. All marketing communications stop. At the end of the period, you must contact support to reactivate your account; automatic re-activation does not happen.
- Duration options: 6 months, 1 year, or permanent.
- No cancellation — the exclusion runs its full term.
- All active bonuses expire immediately.
- Pending withdrawals are paid out before the lock applies.
To start self-exclusion, send an email from your registered address to support@luckyboom.com with the subject 'Self-Exclusion Request' and state the duration. The team will confirm within 24 hours. For immediate help, contact Loket Kansspel at 0900 - 20 23 202 or visit their website.
